Description :
  • Participate in the proposal, planning and delivery of client engagements related to investigations into fraud and/or harassment in the workplace, incident response, litigation support , and other specialized proceedings or regulatory inquiries for a wide variety of clients, industries and disputes  
  • Recover, compile and analyze large volumes of electronic data from a wide range of digital media for evidentiary purposes while ensuring integrity and chain of custody of the data is maintained
  • Use forensic tools and investigative methods to find specific electronic data including information that has been hidden, encrypted or damaged; internet use history, word processing documents, images, mobile phone records and other files
  • Present technical findings to MNP internal teams, clients, legal counsel, as required  
  • Provide industry and technical expertise through client interactions, research and analysis, reports and other high-quality deliverables
  • Maintain flexibility to travel and work outside of regular scheduled hours, as necessary   
  • Travel to client location(s) to gather digital evidence 
  • Attend MNP Forensic Lab in North Mississauga
Requirements :
  • Degree in computer science, information systems, cyber fraud, cyber investigation or other related field
  • Ability to obtain one Digital forensics certification within the first year of hire (CFCE, EnCE, MCFE,)
  • 1-2 years of experience in areas such as information security, forensic investigations, litigation support, technological investigations and eDiscovery, system administration and infrastructure, EDRM,
  • Experience with forensic tools (Magnet Axiom, X-Ways, FTK, Cellebrite, Tableau), and/or operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS, Unix) is preferred
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance through the Government of Canada Contract Security Program
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. work visa is considered an asset
  • Fluency in French is an asset
